About us
A Small Team That Runs The Technical Side Of Other People’s Businesses
Cascadia Web Services started in 2012 and has been bootstrapped ever since. Ten of us now look after more than a hundred businesses internationally, running their websites, their email and the systems behind them so the owners can get on with the work they actually do.
Cascadia in short
- 2012 The year we started
- 100+ Businesses we support
- 10 People on the team
- 78 Services you can hand over
- 9 Products we publish
- 1 Named team per account
How we work
Most of our clients came to us with the same problem: their website, their email and their business software were held together by different vendors, none of whom talked to each other, and all of whom pointed elsewhere when something broke. We took the whole lot on instead, which is why the service list runs from hosting and DNS through to automation.
The model is simple. You get a named team rather than a ticket queue, the recurring work is done before it becomes a problem, and everything arrives on one monthly invoice. We would rather keep a client for a decade than win one on a discount.
We also build the software we could not find: two free WordPress plugins, two Zoho extensions on the Marketplace, and a managed MCP service for teams pointing AI agents at their tools. Everything we publish is documented and supported by the same people who wrote it.
What we believe
- Boring reliability beats novelty
- The recurring work is the work
- You should own your own accounts
- Honest comparisons win better clients
- Small teams can be more accountable than big ones
We are small on purpose
Most people find us at the same moment. They have bought good software, wired some of it together, and realized that keeping it all running has quietly become somebody’s second job. Usually the owner’s, usually at night. We take that over.
There is no junior tier here and no ticket queue to disappear into. The person who picks up your problem is the person who fixes it, and they already know your setup. That only works because we stay small and stick to a handful of platforms we know properly.
One price, agreed up front
No hourly billing, and no meter running while you ask a question. Ask as many as you like.
You will know who we are
You get the same people every time, and they remember your setup. No reintroducing yourself to a new name every month.
The people we work with
Most people arrive in one of three situations. See if any of these sounds like you.
You have outgrown doing it yourself
The software works. Keeping it working has quietly become a job nobody was hired for, and it is usually you doing it after everyone else has gone home. We will take it from here.
You do not want to hire for it
A full-time systems person is a big fixed cost for work that is part time. You get the expertise without the headcount, and you stop wondering who covers it when they are on vacation.
You are an agency and this is not your thing
Your team does design and delivery, not system migrations or deliverability. We work quietly behind you, under your brand, and your client never needs to know we exist. See how we work with agencies.
Why people hand this over
The tools are good, and none of this is their fault. It is what comes after buying them that catches people out.
Software cannot make the call
A plugin will tell you an update is available. It cannot tell you whether installing it on a Friday afternoon will take your checkout down. That judgment is the part people are usually missing, and it happens to be the part we enjoy.
It grows faster than you expect
One site and two integrations is a manageable evening. Six sites, a CRM, a help desk and a sending domain is somebody’s whole week. It creeps up slowly, and then all at once.
It helps to have someone
When everyone is responsible, nobody is. We put our name against your systems, so when something breaks there is never a question about who is picking it up.
Come and say hello
Tell us what you are running and where it is hurting. We will give you a straight answer about whether we can help, and if we are not the right fit we will happily point you somewhere better. No pressure and no pitch.
