Someone actually reading your logs
A serverless function rarely fails loudly. It fails on one record in a thousand, retries, gives up, and nobody notices until finance asks why a month of orders is short.
Managed Zoho Catalyst
Zoho Catalyst can run the custom half of your business, the parts no packaged app covers, once somebody writes the functions, wires the integrations, and watches what it all consumes. That part is a job.
With Cascadia you get
A serverless function rarely fails loudly. It fails on one record in a thousand, retries, gives up, and nobody notices until finance asks why a month of orders is short.
Deploying straight to production from a laptop works right up until the day it does not. We run builds through a pipeline with versioned releases and a separate development environment, so a bad change gets caught before your customers meet it, and reversing one takes minutes rather than a rewrite.
Deluge handles a lot inside the packaged apps. The awkward cases need more room: long running jobs, a real database, a customer portal, or logic that talks to systems Zoho has never heard of.
What you get
All 20 of these come with Managed Zoho Catalyst, set up and looked after by our team.
Tell us how your team uses Zoho Catalyst and we will take it from there.
A freelancer can build you a function and invoice for it. Keeping that code running as APIs change, staff leave, and your volume grows is a different job, and it is the one that decides whether your custom build is still an asset a year from now.
| What to compare | How Cascadia handles it |
|---|---|
| Getting the next change shipped | Under a subscription, you tell us what needs changing and we build it. |
| What happens when your developer moves on | We work as a team, document as we build, and keep your project structured so somebody else can pick it up. |
| Inheriting a project that is a mess | We audit what exists, map the functions and their triggers, review the schema, and tell you honestly which pieces are worth keeping and which should be rebuilt clean. |
| Who holds your production credentials | We move secrets into proper environment configuration, set roles so building and deploying sit with different people, and rotate access when somebody leaves. |
| Growing into the rest of your stack | We manage the wider Zoho ecosystem, so when your custom requirement is really a CRM configuration problem, we say so, and we flag when Zoho One costs less than adding apps one by one. |
| What it costs next month | A flat monthly rate makes the cost predictable and puts the incentive on us to keep your build efficient rather than to accumulate billable hours. |

“I’ve worked with Cascadia for several years now. They are always ready to help in any way I ask and can implement my ideas with ease. A company that values their clients!”
“Cascadia has been great to work with! We recently needed some updates, and Cascadia was quick to get them completed! We highly recommend Cascadia Web Services.”
“Cascadia is very responsive and we’re happy with them as our primary IT vendor.”
“They do great work, been using for years. Prompt responses to requests.”
Deluge is capable until a job runs too long, needs a real database, or has to call three systems in order. We move that logic into Catalyst functions with proper error handling, so the process finishes reliably instead of timing out and leaving records half updated.
Get startedA macro somebody wrote years ago, a scheduled script on a laptop, a spreadsheet three people edit at once. It works until the person who built it is on holiday.
Get startedZoho One covers a great deal, and then there is the one process your business actually competes on that no packaged app handles. Catalyst is where that belongs.
Get startedWhether you are starting from an empty project or inheriting code somebody else wrote, the sequence is the same.
We start with a consultation about the process you are trying to fix, what it touches, and what happens today when it fails. Then we look at whether Catalyst is genuinely the right place for it, because sometimes the answer is a configuration change in an app you already own.
Get startedWe create the Catalyst project, separate development from production, design the data store schema, and set up authentication and secrets properly. Then we build one meaningful piece end to end and deploy it.
Get startedWe build the remaining functions and integrations, wire up the release pipeline, and put it into production. From there it stays managed.

See all Zoho servicesManaged Zoho Catalyst is an ongoing subscription where we build and run your Catalyst environment for you. That covers serverless functions, application hosting on AppSail, data store design, authentication, integrations with your other Zoho apps, and the monitoring that keeps it all running. Instead of hiring a developer every time something needs changing, you have a team already inside your project handling it month to month.
Yes, and that is deliberate. Everything we build lives inside your own Catalyst project under your ownership, including the functions, data store, files, and deployment history. If you ever move to another provider or bring the work in house, none of it needs exporting or negotiating. Nothing sits in an agency account where somebody else holds the keys.
Catalyst is a developer platform billed on consumption, so it does not work like the apps bundled into a Zoho One seat. Zoho One customers use it all the time, and it is usually the right home for the custom pieces the packaged apps were never going to cover. Send us your licensing and we will tell you what your setup actually costs.
Functions run on Node.js, Java or Python. AppSail adds runtimes such as Go, PHP and .NET for hosted applications. We work across all of those. If your team already has a preference, or existing code that does its job, we work in that language.
Yes, and it is a common way people find us. We start by reading what is already there: the functions and their triggers, the data store schema, the way secrets and permissions have been handled. Then we tell you what is worth keeping. Quoting a full rewrite is the easy answer and it is usually the wrong one.
AppSail is the Catalyst service for hosting full web applications rather than individual functions. You would use it when you have an actual app with a front end and routing, not just a piece of logic that fires on an event. We handle the build configuration, runtime, environment variables, and custom domain setup so it runs properly in production.
Yes, and that is often the main reason to use it. Catalyst can read from and write to CRM, Books, Desk, Projects, and the rest through their APIs, which lets you build logic the packaged apps do not offer. We build and maintain those connections, including authentication, payload mapping, and the logging that tells you what happened when something fails.
A straightforward set of functions and integrations usually reaches production in four to six weeks. A full hosted application with authentication and its own data store takes longer, and that gets scoped separately. You will see working software early either way, because we deploy in stages and prove each piece before adding the next.
We configure logging and alerting so failures surface immediately, not when a customer complains. Because we already know your project, diagnosis starts with context rather than a discovery call. Functions are built with retries and clear failure handling from the start, so most transient problems resolve themselves and the ones that do not get flagged with enough detail to fix quickly.
Yes. Some clients want us to build everything, and others want us handling infrastructure, deployments, and code review while their own team writes features. We set up the CLI, SDKs, project structure, and environments so your developers have something workable, and we document what we build so nobody has to reverse engineer it later.
Catalyst runs on Zoho’s infrastructure, with the same data center and compliance posture as the rest of the platform. The risks worth your attention are almost never the platform. They are credentials sitting in source code, permissions drawn far too broadly, and test data mixed in with live. We deal with all three during setup.
We tell you before you reach the limit. Extra hours can be added at an agreed rate, or a larger piece of work can be scoped as its own project with its own quote. Unused hours do not roll over. The monitoring and the advice continue regardless of how much building happens in a given month.
We’d love to hear from you!
