Freshsales alternative

A Managed Alternative To Freshsales

Freshsales gives you a CRM and leaves the setup and upkeep with your team. With Cascadia, the CRM is Zoho CRM and running it is our job, on a flat monthly rate. You get stages that match how you sell, layouts reps actually complete, workflow rules that handle the follow-ups, email and phone connected, and dashboards managers can rely on.

With Cascadia you get

  • Your sales process leads
  • Configuration that keeps up
  • API work where connectors stop
  • Adoption over feature count
  • Your account, your data
  • Licensing watched before it bites

The short version

The short case for Cascadia over Freshsales

Every automation rule gets tested before anyone depends on it, because one rule that fires at the wrong moment is enough to make a team distrust the whole CRM. Duplicate records get cleared on a regular schedule.

What changes once we run it

People make decisions from the CRM whether it is filled in or not. An empty field looks like no activity, which is why an unused CRM is worse than none at all.

Your sales process leads

There is no template pipeline for you to adapt to. We begin with how your deals move today, what your reps already do well and where things stall, and shape the CRM to fit.

Configuration that keeps up

Sales changes, and a CRM set up for last year slowly drifts out of step. New product lines, a stricter qualification bar or a reorganized team all get reflected in the stages, fields and automation.

API work where connectors stop

The built-in integrations cover common setups well. Where one stops short of what you need, we extend it with the API and Deluge so nothing turns into a manual step.

Adoption over feature count

We check which fields and steps your team really uses, drop the ones nobody touches, and fix the ones that slow people down. Success here means the team uses the CRM.

Who this comparison is for

Teams whose CRM was set up and abandoned

Half the fields are empty, automation fires at strange times, and nobody believes the forecast. We review it, keep the parts that work, rebuild the rest, and take responsibility for it going forward.

Sales teams still running on spreadsheets

Spreadsheets hold up until two people edit the same sheet, a deal sits with no owner, or someone wants to know what closed last quarter.

Companies migrating off Salesforce or HubSpot

Most of the work in leaving an expensive CRM is the data. Records, history, notes, attachments and open activities have to land with owners and dates attached, not as a flat list of contacts.

How our managed Zoho CRM service works

New CRM or one somebody left behind, we follow the same steps: understand how you sell, build the pipeline and automation around that, then move your data and hook up the systems next to it.

  1. 1

    We assess your current setup

Step one is a look at the present setup: the subscriptions you pay for, where things are configured, and which parts cause real trouble.

  2. 2

We map how you actually sell

If a layout you want would break your reporting, it comes up here, before ten thousand records are loaded.

  3. 3

We build the pipeline and automation

We build the pipeline, fields and automation and test every rule, working in your sandbox first where your edition has one, so reps only see finished work.

  4. 4

We connect, roll out, and maintain

Then comes the data migration and the connections to email, telephony and your other Zoho apps, followed by ongoing management.

How Freshsales works

What Freshsales does, in their own words

Freshsales is the CRM from Freshworks, and its rates are public. We read the figures below in September 2026. Annual billing costs less than monthly.

Growth, $9 per user a month annually or $11 monthly (September 2026)Adds a visual pipeline, AI contact scoring and basic workflow automation. Email sequences are capped per user.
Pro, $39 per user a month annually or $47 monthly (September 2026)Brings multiple pipelines, unlimited sequences, time-based workflows and AI deal insights.
Enterprise, $59 per user a month annually or $71 monthly (September 2026)Includes custom modules, AI forecasting, audit logs and a dedicated account manager.
Built-in phone is included from the free tierMost CRMs charge extra for telephony, so this is rare, and it is where Freshsales saves money.
The AI copilot is extraFreddy AI Copilot is reported at about $29 per user a month billed annually, or $35 monthly, added to the plan price.

Freshsales alternative questions

Answers for teams comparing Freshsales with a managed Zoho CRM.

See Managed Zoho CRM
Is Cascadia a straight swap for Freshsales?

Not really. Freshsales is a CRM you set up and run yourself. With us, your sales process sets the shape: we skip the template pipeline, look at how your deals move, what your reps do well and where things stall, then build and run Zoho CRM around that.

Is Zoho CRM included in Zoho One?

Yes. Zoho CRM comes with the Zoho One suite, and companies using several Zoho apps usually get it that way instead of buying it on its own. Our management work is identical in both cases. If CRM already sits next to Books, Desk, Campaigns or Projects, our Zoho One bundle covers the full set for less than four separate app plans, which is where most multi-app teams land.

How is this different from hiring a Zoho CRM consultant?

Consultants fit projects with a clear start and finish, and a CRM has neither. Pipelines change, reps come and go, automation built for twenty deals a month fails at two hundred, and data quality slips all the time. Billed hourly, each of those turns into a small negotiation. With a subscription, routine changes need no quote and we keep what we know about your setup between requests, so nothing has to be relearned.

Can you migrate us from Salesforce or HubSpot?

Yes, and from Pipedrive, spreadsheets or an older Zoho org too. Records, history, notes, attachments and open activities move over with owners and dates intact, not as a flat contact list. A test migration comes first, so you can check where everything lands before the team switches. Migrations are scoped as a separate project next to the subscription, since the effort depends on how much data you have and what state it is in.

How long does onboarding take?

Most teams are up and running on a managed Zoho CRM in three to four weeks. Week one is access, a review of how you sell, and pipeline design. Week two covers layouts, fields and data migration. Week three handles automation, assignment rules and blueprints, and week four integrations, reporting and rollout. A large migration from another CRM runs in parallel and usually takes longer.

Will you fix the Zoho CRM setup we already have?

In most cases, yes. Many providers quote a rebuild because it is easier than making sense of work someone else did. We audit first: pipeline logic, custom fields, automation and data quality. Then we tell you plainly what is worth keeping and what should be rebuilt. A lot of accounts only need tidying and a few structural fixes.

Can you connect Zoho CRM to our phone system and email?

Yes. Gmail or Microsoft 365 is linked so emails and meetings file themselves against the correct record, and PhoneBridge connects your phone system so calls, recordings and outcomes are attached with no manual notes. Zoho CRM works with many telephony providers. If yours is not on the list, we check its API before we promise anything.

What about integrations with the rest of our Zoho apps?

This is usually where the CRM proves its value. Books ties invoices and payments to the account, Desk puts support history beside each deal, Campaigns feeds marketing attribution, and Analytics reports across apps. If a built-in connector does not go far enough, we extend it with the API and Deluge so you are not left with a manual step.

How do you handle data quality and duplicates?

Nobody updates a CRM they do not trust, and duplicates wear down trust fastest. Unique field rules and merge criteria make new duplicates harder to create, and scheduled clean-ups deal with the existing ones. When reports line up with what the team knows to be true, adoption usually follows.

Can you control who sees which deals?

Yes. Roles and profiles limit each person to what their job needs, and territories and sharing rules handle regions or overlay teams where ownership gets complicated. Sensitive fields such as margin, contract value and personal data get field-level permissions, and the audit trail and exports your auditors want are set up too.

Do we get reports and dashboards, or do we build those?

We build them. That covers pipeline by stage and owner, conversion between stages, average sales cycle, activity compared with outcomes, and where deals are stalling. Managers each get a dashboard for their own team instead of a shared view nobody opens, and when leadership comes with a new question, we add the report so nobody is exporting spreadsheets.
