Managed Zoho POS

Zoho POS for Checkouts, Inventory and Outlets

Retail breaks at the counter first, the line that moves too slowly, the item that scanned at last month’s price, the stock number that stopped matching the shelf. Managed Zoho POS puts billing, inventory, outlets, and payments in one system we configure and run for you.

With Cascadia you get

  • We build your catalog to scan
  • Sales tax set up for your state
  • Stock that matches the shelf
  • Hardware that actually works
  • Your account, your data
  • Connected to the rest of Zoho

Why teams choose our Zoho POS service

We build your catalog to scan

Barcodes, variants, and pricing decide whether checkout is fast or painful. We build your item catalog with the variants and units you really sell, generate or map barcodes, set price lists and promotions, then test the whole thing at a live register before your staff meet a customer with it.

Sales tax set up for your state

Tax is where retail point of sale quietly goes wrong, especially across county lines or at a second location. We configure your rates, tax groups, and exemptions per outlet, set which items are taxable, and confirm that printed receipts and the totals posting to Zoho Books agree with each other.

Stock that matches the shelf

A register that does not talk to inventory turns into a counting problem every week. We sync stock across outlets and warehouses, set reorder points and low stock alerts, configure transfers and returns, and check the mapping so what the system says is on hand is what your staff can actually find.

Managed Zoho POS compared with setting up the register yourself

Anybody can install a point of sale app and ring up a sale. Building a catalog that scans right, tax that reconciles, and stock that stays accurate across outlets is a different job, and it is the part that gets postponed until inventory day.

What to compareHow Cascadia handles it
Getting the catalog rightWe build it against how you actually sell, then test a full checkout before a customer is standing there waiting.
Sales tax that reconcilesWe configure rates and exemptions per outlet and check that register totals match Zoho Books, so month end closes on schedule rather than turning into a hunt for the difference.
Counting stock every weekSynced stock, reorder points, and proper transfer and return handling keep the numbers close, and the gaps that remain show up as exceptions rather than as a surprise on count day.
When hardware misbehavesWe configure supported hardware, document the setup, and know the device path well enough to fix it quickly instead of starting the diagnosis from scratch.
Growing into the wider Zoho suiteWe manage the wider Zoho environment, so when a checkout problem turns out to be a Zoho Books mapping problem, we say so, and we flag when Zoho One costs less than adding apps one by one.
What it costs next monthA flat monthly rate makes the cost predictable and puts the incentive on us to keep the system current rather than to bill hours.

Who our managed Zoho POS service fits best

Independent retailers outgrowing a basic register

A card reader and a notebook work until the item count passes what anybody can hold in their head. We load your catalog properly, get barcodes scanning, set reorder points, and connect the register to Zoho Books so the day’s sales post themselves instead of being retyped at night.

Get started

Multi outlet and franchise operators

Two stores mean two stock positions, two tax setups, and one owner trying to compare them. We configure each outlet with its own rates, staff, and stock, build transfers between them, and report across all of it so you can see which location is actually working instead of guessing.

Get started

Businesses already running Zoho Books or Inventory

If your accounting and purchasing already live in Zoho, the register belongs there too. We connect POS so sales, payments, and stock movements land in Books and Inventory on their own, which removes the reconciliation step most retailers still do by hand at the end of the month.

Ready to get more out of Zoho POS?

Whether you are opening a first store or replacing a system somebody set up three years ago, the sequence is the same.

How our managed Zoho POS service works

1. We audit and load your catalog

We start with what you have, whether that is a spreadsheet of items, an export from an old system, or a half configured Zoho account. Products, variants, prices, barcodes, customers, and current stock get mapped and loaded so history comes across rather than everyone starting at zero.

Get started

2. We configure checkout, tax, and stock

Next come the settings that make the register yours, meaning tax rates and exemptions per outlet, price lists and promotions, payment methods and terminals, receipt layouts, staff roles and permissions, and the reorder points that keep shelves full. We test each one at a live till, then train your counter team before opening day rather than during it.

Get started

3. We keep it correct as you grow

From there you get the ongoing work, meaning new products and price changes configured when you make them, new outlets and staff added, the Books and Inventory sync checked every cycle, and a monthly summary of sales, margin, stock exceptions, and anything still open. You send priorities and we build them into the following month.

What is managed Zoho POS?

Managed Zoho POS is a subscription where we run your Zoho POS retail point of sale system for you at a flat monthly rate. That covers the initial build, meaning item catalog and barcodes, checkout and receipts, sales tax, payment terminals, stock sync, outlets, and staff roles, plus the ongoing changes as your products, prices, and locations shift. You get a register that works properly and stays correct, without hiring somebody to administer it.

What does Zoho POS actually do?

Zoho POS is Zoho’s retail point of sale product, formerly sold as Zakya. It handles billing and checkout at the counter, barcode scanning, multiple payment methods and terminals, offline billing when the internet drops, customer records and store credit, item catalog and pricing, stock across outlets and warehouses, purchasing and returns, and retail reporting. It connects to Zoho Books, Inventory, CRM, Commerce, and Analytics.

Is Zoho POS included in Zoho One?

No, and it is worth knowing before you plan a budget. Zoho POS is licensed separately and sits outside Zoho One, along with a handful of other products such as Procurement and ZeptoMail. Almost everything the register depends on is inside Zoho One though, meaning Books, Inventory, CRM, Desk, Commerce, and Analytics. Most retailers end up with a Zoho One subscription plus a POS subscription, and we manage both together.

Is Zoho POS free?

Zoho publishes current pricing on their site and it changes, so treat those figures as a starting point. Our fee is separate and covers the configuration and ongoing management rather than the license itself.

Do I need my own Zoho POS license?

Yes, and that is deliberate. The subscription is yours, billed to your company, in your own Zoho account. We work inside it as an administrator. Every product record, transaction, and customer belongs to you, so if you ever stop working with us nothing has to be exported out of an agency account or handed back. You keep the system and the data, and we hand over the admin access.

How is Zoho POS different from Zoho Inventory or Books?

They do different jobs and they work together. Zoho POS is the register, meaning the counter, the scan, the payment, and the receipt. Zoho Inventory manages stock, purchasing, warehouses, and fulfillment behind it. Zoho Books is the accounting that the day’s sales post into. A retailer usually runs all three, and most of the value comes from the connections between them being configured properly rather than from any one product.

How does Zoho POS compare to Square or Lightspeed?

Square is simpler to switch on and harder to bend, and it takes a cut of every transaction. Lightspeed is strong on retail depth and priced accordingly. Zoho POS sits between them, with real multi outlet and inventory capability at a lower license cost, and its clear advantage is that your accounting, purchasing, CRM, and reporting can live in the same suite. The setup work is what closes the gap, and that is what we do.

What hardware works with Zoho POS?

Zoho POS runs on Windows, Android, and iOS, and connects to standard retail peripherals including barcode scanners, receipt printers, cash drawers, customer facing displays, weighing scales, and supported card terminals. You are not locked into one vendor’s hardware. We help you choose devices that are known to work, configure each one against the register, and test the whole checkout path before you open.

Can it keep selling if the internet goes down?

Yes. Zoho POS supports offline billing, so the counter keeps taking sales during an outage and the transactions sync once the connection returns. We configure and test that path as part of the build rather than leaving you to discover it during an outage, and we set up register sessions so cash handling is still recorded per shift while you are offline.

Can you migrate us off our current POS?

Yes, and that is where a lot of these projects start. We take your item list, prices, barcodes, customers, open store credit, and current stock counts from an export or a spreadsheet, map them to the right fields, and load them so history comes across rather than starting everyone at zero. We check the result against your own counts before a single sale runs through the new system.

How long does Zoho POS implementation take?

For a single outlet with a clean product list, expect the register live in two to four weeks. Catalog, checkout, tax, and payment terminals come first, then stock sync and purchasing, then reporting and the wider integrations. Multiple outlets, a messy item list, or migrating from an old system extends that. We sequence it so the parts your staff use every day work first.

Does it handle multiple stores and stock transfers?

Yes. Each outlet gets its own stock position, staff, registers, and tax setup, and transfers between locations are recorded rather than arranged by phone. We configure the warehouses behind them, set reorder points per location, and build the reporting so you can compare stores against each other instead of guessing which one is carrying the group.

What if our Zoho POS is already set up badly?

That is a common starting point and it is usually fixable. We audit what is there, find what is misconfigured or abandoned, and tell you plainly what is worth repairing versus rebuilding. Tax setup, catalog structure, and the Books mapping are the usual problem areas. We correct them without wiping the transaction history you have built up, and you get a written record of what changed and why.

What happens if we want to cancel or bring this in house?

You keep everything. The Zoho subscription is in your name, all products, transactions, and customer records stay in your account, and the configuration remains exactly as it is. We hand over administrator access and documentation of how the catalog, tax rules, hardware, and integrations are built. There is no lock in and no export process, because the system was never sitting inside anything of ours.
