What the managed part actually means

Electronic signature is sold as a speed improvement and usually delivers one, right up until somebody sends the wrong version.

Connected to the rest of Zoho

A signing tool on its own cannot see your pipeline or your books. We link Sign to Zoho CRM so contracts send from deals, tie it to Zoho Books so approved estimates convert cleanly, and use Zoho Flow to trigger whatever needs to happen next.

Templates built from your paperwork

Your NDAs, statements of work, and offer letters become reusable templates with every field already positioned.

Signing orders that match reality

Most agreements need more than one signature, and the order usually matters.

Authentication that fits the document

A routine consent form and a six figure contract do not deserve the same scrutiny.

Who this comparison is for

HR teams handling offers and policy sign off

Offer letters, handbooks, and annual policy acknowledgements are high volume and low variation, which is exactly what templates and SignForms handle well.

Teams already running Zoho CRM and Books

If your pipeline and your invoicing already live in Zoho, your agreements belong there too.

Sales teams closing contracts from the pipeline

When a deal is ready to close, the paperwork should not add three days to it.

How our managed Zoho Sign service works

Whether you are moving off DocuSign or sending contracts as email attachments today, the sequence is the same. We get your most common document working properly first, then the rest of the library, then the integrations and reporting.

  1. 1

    We assess your current setup

First we look at how things run today: what you already pay for, what is configured where, and which parts are actually causing you trouble.

  2. 2

We set up your account and senders

We build the folder structure and permissions, then rebuild your single most common agreement as a working template and send a real one.

  3. 3

We build the library and the workflows

We test every template with a live send before your team relies on it.

  4. 4

We keep it correct as you change

From there you get the ongoing work, meaning revised templates when your terms change, new signing orders as your approval chain shifts, senders added and removed as your team moves, and a monthly review of turnaround times, stalled documents, and expiry rates.

How Dropbox Sign works

What Dropbox Sign does, in their own words

Dropbox Sign, formerly HelloSign, sells its app and its API as two separate billing tracks. The figures below were read in September 2026 and are third-party reported.

Free plan, 3 signature requests a month (September 2026)Unlimited self-signing, a basic audit trail and no templates. It does not expire.
Essentials, $15 a month for one user (September 2026)Unlimited signature requests and about five templates, with branding and basic integrations.
Standard, $25 per user a month with a two-user minimum (September 2026)Unlimited requests per paid seat and around 15 templates, so the real entry cost is $50 a month.
Premium is quotedUnlimited users, requests and templates, plus single sign-on and data residency.
The API is a separate productEmbedded signing requires their Standard API plan, reported at $300 a month or $3,600 a year, entirely apart from the per-seat plans.
Template caps force the upgradesFive on Essentials and 15 on Standard, so a solo user needing a sixth template faces the jump from about $180 to $600 a year once the two-seat minimum applies.

See Managed Zoho Sign
What does Cascadia do that Dropbox Sign leaves to me?

We connect your signing to the rest of Zoho. A signing tool on its own cannot see your pipeline or your books. We link Sign to Zoho CRM so contracts send from deals, tie it to Zoho Books so approved estimates convert cleanly, and use Zoho Flow to trigger whatever needs to happen next.

How does Zoho Sign compare to DocuSign?

Both send legally valid signature requests and both produce audit trails. DocuSign has a longer track record and broader third party connector coverage. Zoho Sign costs substantially less per sender and integrates natively with Zoho CRM, Books, Writer, and People without a paid connector in between. If your business already runs on Zoho, the integration depth usually outweighs the brand recognition. If your clients specifically expect DocuSign, that expectation is worth considering.

Are documents signed in Zoho Sign legally binding?

Electronic signatures are legally recognized in most jurisdictions, including under ESIGN and UETA in the United States and eIDAS in the European Union. Zoho Sign supports the technical requirements those frameworks expect, including signer authentication, tamper evident sealing, and a complete audit trail. We configure your account for the standards your agreements need and document which settings support which claim, so your counsel has something concrete to review rather than an assurance.

Do you build our document templates for us?

Yes, and it is usually the highest value part of the engagement. We take your existing agreements, whether those are NDAs, statements of work, quotes, offer letters, or consent forms, and rebuild them as Zoho Sign templates with signature fields, initials, dates, and checkboxes positioned correctly. We also configure merge fields so client details populate from your CRM instead of being retyped into every copy.

Can Zoho Sign send contracts from Zoho CRM?

Yes, and this is the setup most sales teams want. We connect Sign to Zoho CRM so a quote or agreement sends directly from the deal record with the client details already merged in. When the last party signs, the completed document attaches back to that deal automatically. Nobody downloads a PDF and emails it to themselves, and nobody has to remember to file it.

How do you handle documents that need several signatures?

We build the signing order to match how the agreement actually moves. Sequential order sends to each party in turn, parallel order sends to everyone at once, and approvers can review a document internally before it goes out to a client at all. Carbon copy recipients receive the finished agreement without joining the signing chain, which keeps finance and legal informed without adding steps.

Can we verify who is actually signing?

Yes, and we set the authentication level to match what each document is worth. Options range from email verification for routine agreements up to access codes, SMS verification, and knowledge based authentication for higher value contracts. Applying the strictest setting to everything creates friction that slows down routine paperwork, so we tune it per template rather than applying one rule across your whole account.

What is a SignForm and when would we use one?

A SignForm is a signing link you publish rather than a document you send. Instead of emailing an agreement to each new contractor or client individually, you share one link and they complete and sign on their own. It fits standard documents that go to many people, like contractor agreements, waivers, event releases, and policy acknowledgements. We build the form and connect the completed documents to wherever they need to land.

Can you migrate us from DocuSign or Adobe Sign?

Yes. We rebuild your templates and signing sequences in Zoho Sign, export your completed agreements from the old system for archive so your history is not stranded, and run both tools in parallel for a short window while anything already in flight finishes. Your team keeps sending from the old tool until the new templates are tested, then we switch over and decommission the old account.

Does Zoho Sign work with our non Zoho tools?

Often, yes. Zoho Sign has direct integrations with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, Box, and several others. Beyond that, Zoho Flow connects it to a wide range of applications without custom code. Where a connector genuinely does not exist, Zoho Sign has a documented API and we build the integration ourselves. We tell you which category your particular tool falls into before you commit to anything.
