Looking For A WooCommerce Alternative? We Run It Instead

Zoho Commerce can run your entire online store, once someone builds the storefront, structures the catalog, and connects it to the accounting and inventory your business already runs on. That part is a job. Our managed Zoho Commerce plan handles it on a flat monthly rate: a storefront built around your products, a catalog shoppers can search, payments and shipping configured properly, and orders flowing into Zoho Books and Inventory without anybody rekeying them.

With Cascadia you get

  • Stock that matches the shelf
  • Catalogs people can actually search
  • API work where connectors stop
  • Built around how you sell
  • Your store, your order history
  • Order volume watched before fees bite

The short version

Cascadia, compared with WooCommerce

An online store is only as honest as its catalog. Sell something the warehouse does not have and you have bought yourself a refund, an apology, and a customer who checks a competitor next time.

What you get here

  • Abandoned Cart Recovery
  • Shipping Zones, Rates & Carriers
  • Sales Tax & Compliance Setup
  • Order Fulfillment & Returns Workflow
  • Zoho Books & Inventory Connection
  • Zoho CRM, Campaigns & Desk Sync
  • API & Custom Deluge Development

Where we go further

Payment methods are tested rather than assumed to be working, since a gateway that stopped authorizing raises no error you would ever see.

Catalogs people can actually search

A store with four thousand products and no filters is the same as a store with none, because nobody finds the right one.

API work where connectors stop

The awkward cases need more: a feed from a supplier catalog Zoho has never heard of, a pricing rule the platform does not support, or an order pushed into an ERP the moment it ships.

Built around how you sell

A store that fights your fulfillment process is a store your team works around, and then the orders live in a spreadsheet again.

Your store, your order history

If you ever change providers, the storefront, catalog, customer list, and order history stay exactly where they are. Nothing sits in an agency account, so there is no export to negotiate and no leverage held over you.

Who this comparison is for

Sellers still taking orders by phone and email

Manual order taking works right up until it does not, and then a price is wrong or the item was already sold.

Zoho One customers still paying for Shopify

Zoho One includes Commerce, and plenty of companies pay Shopify every month while already funding it.

Wholesale and B2B sellers with tiered pricing

We configure customer groups, price lists, and the checkout rules that go with them, so your B2B buyers see their pricing and your retail shoppers see yours.

How our managed Zoho Commerce service works

Whether you are starting with no store at all or migrating one somebody else built, the sequence is the same. We work out what you sell and how you fulfill it, build the storefront and the catalog, then connect payments, shipping, and your Zoho back office.

  1. 1

    We assess your current setup

First we look at how things run today: what you already pay for, what is configured where, and which parts are actually causing you trouble.

  2. 2

We map what you sell and ship

If the catalog structure you want turns out to fight your shipping rules, this is where you find out, rather than after launch.

  3. 3

We build the storefront and the catalog

We build the store pages, load the catalog with variants and images, set collections and filters, then configure payments, shipping zones, and tax rules.

  4. 4

    We launch, monitor, and maintain

We run live test orders, take the store public, and keep it running from there.

How WooCommerce works

What WooCommerce does, in their own words

WooCommerce is a free WordPress plugin, so the cost lives everywhere except the license. The figures below were read in September 2026.

The plugin is free (September 2026)Core WooCommerce costs nothing to install, with unlimited products. Everything else is what you pay for.
Running a store, $1,500 to $18,000 a yearIndependent guides put a working small-business store in the low thousands and a growing operation far higher once everything is stacked.
Hosting, $15 to $300 a monthShared hosting at the bottom, managed WooCommerce hosting in the middle, enterprise higher again.
Extensions, $29 to $299 each a yearSubscriptions, bookings, advanced shipping and cart recovery are mostly paid add-ons, and audits commonly find stores running a dozen or more.
Payment processing is the underestimated lineAround 2.9 percent plus 30 cents, which is roughly $2,900 a year on $100,000 of revenue.
Someone has to keep it workingUpdates, compatibility between plugins, security and recovery after an incident are the labor costs that never appear in a plugin price.

See Managed Zoho Commerce
How is Cascadia different from WooCommerce?

The main difference is that we build and maintain a catalog your customers can actually search. A store with four thousand products and no filters is the same as a store with none, because nobody finds the right one. We build collections, tags, and filter attributes around the way your customers shop, set naming rules that survive contact with reality, and retire dead listings instead of letting them pile up.

What is Zoho Commerce?

Zoho Commerce is Zoho’s ecommerce platform for building and running an online store. It covers the storefront builder, product catalog, cart and checkout, payment gateways, shipping, and order management in one product, and it connects directly to Zoho Books, Inventory, and CRM. It is also included in Zoho One, which is why a lot of companies already own it without having launched a store on it.

What does your managed Zoho Commerce service include?

We build the store and then run it. That covers theme and page setup, catalog and variant structure, payment gateways, shipping and tax rules, checkout configuration, and the connections into Books, Inventory, and CRM. After launch we handle catalog changes, promotions, monitoring, and the ongoing administration at a flat monthly rate, so the store keeps working without you hiring someone to look after it.

Is Zoho Commerce included in Zoho One?

Yes. Zoho Commerce is part of the Zoho One suite, so if you already pay for Zoho One you can launch a store without adding another subscription. Plenty of companies pay Shopify every month while already funding Commerce inside Zoho One and never realizing it. We check what your current Zoho plan already covers before recommending you buy anything else.

How does Zoho Commerce compare to Shopify?

Shopify has a larger app ecosystem and more third party themes. Zoho Commerce wins when the rest of your business already runs on Zoho, because orders, inventory, accounting, and customer records connect natively instead of through paid connectors. If you are on Zoho One, Commerce is also already paid for. If your store depends on a specific Shopify app with no Zoho equivalent, we will tell you that rather than talk you into a move.

Can you migrate my store from Shopify or WooCommerce?

Yes. We move products, variants, images, customers, and order history, then map your existing URLs to the new structure and put redirects in place before the old store goes offline. That last step is what protects the search rankings you already have, and it is the one most migrations skip. Larger migrations get scoped separately so your monthly cost stays predictable.

Does Zoho Commerce connect to Zoho Books and Inventory?

Yes, and this is the main reason to choose it. Orders post to Zoho Books as invoices and to Zoho Inventory as stock movements, so your storefront, your accounting, and your stock counts stay in step. We configure the mapping, including tax codes and item matching, because the default connection rarely lines up with how a real business has its chart of accounts arranged.

Can Zoho Commerce sync with Zoho CRM?

Yes. Customers and orders flow into CRM so your sales team sees purchase history alongside the pipeline, and Campaigns can segment on what someone actually bought rather than what they browsed. We set up the field mapping and the deduplication rules, so you do not end up with three contact records for the same buyer and a segment that double counts them.

Which payment gateways can I use?

Zoho Commerce supports the major gateways including Stripe, PayPal, and Authorize.Net, plus several regional providers, and the list available to you depends on where your business is registered. We connect the ones you want, run live test transactions, and confirm refunds work before launch. If you need a gateway Zoho does not support natively, we look at whether the API can bridge it.

Can you customize the checkout?

Within what the platform allows, yes. We trim the fields to what you actually need, enable guest checkout, add custom fields your fulfillment process depends on, and cut the number of steps between cart and payment. Zoho Commerce does not offer unlimited checkout templating, so we will be straight with you about where the limit sits before you plan a process around it.
