The Managed Way To Replace BlueJeans

BlueJeans is gone: Verizon shut the platform down, and it closed fully in the first half of 2024. Video calls are easy until you need them to do a job. Managed Zoho Meeting covers the hosts, the recurring sessions, the webinar production, the registration pages, the reminders, and the recordings, all run inside your own Zoho account. We wire it into CRM so every call and every registrant lands on a real record, keep the security settings sensible, and send you the attendance numbers without being asked.

With Cascadia you get

  • We run your webinars live
  • Registrants become CRM records
  • Recordings get managed, not stockpiled
  • Host licenses stay honest
  • Your account, your recordings
  • Access controls match the risk

What the managed part actually means

The software is fine. What goes wrong is a set of defaults nobody changed.

Host licenses stay honest

We provision hosts properly, remove access the week somebody departs, reassign their recurring meetings so those do not fail silently, and compare each quarter what you pay for against what actually ran.

Your account, your recordings

Every session, recording, registration page, and report lives inside your own Zoho subscription under your company name. Nothing sits behind an agency account, so there is no export to negotiate and no leverage held over you.

Access controls match the risk

An open join link eventually lets somebody into a call they should not hear. We configure waiting rooms, registration requirements, and entry passwords for the sessions that need them, and leave the internal standup easy to join.

We run your webinars live

Tell us the date and the topic, and we build the session, set the presenter roles, run a practice pass with your speakers, and stay on the call while it happens.

Who this comparison is for

Firms that must record client calls

When a call is a record, how it gets stored matters as much as whether it happened.

Teams running webinars to generate leads

When the webinar is the offer, registration and follow up matter more than the call itself.

Teams moving off Zoom or Teams

Most switches stall over the invites already sitting in hundreds of calendars.

How our managed Zoho Meeting service works

Whether you are starting fresh or cleaning up an account three people have administered, the sequence is the same. We find out what exists, fix what should stay, then run it.

  1. 1

    We assess your current setup

First we look at how things run today: what you already pay for, what is configured where, and which parts are actually causing you trouble.

  2. 2

    We inventory what is live

We start by listing every host seat, recurring meeting, booking link, webinar, and integration attached to your account, including the weekly sync somebody scheduled for a team that no longer exists.

  3. 3

    We configure and connect

We set the security and recording policy first, because it decides everything downstream.

  4. 4

We run it and keep it working

From there you send us requests and we handle them, usually within a day or two.

How BlueJeans works

What BlueJeans does, in their own words

BlueJeans has been shut down. Verizon sunset the platform, so there is no current product, no pricing and no support. This page exists for people still searching the name.

Verizon announced the shutdown on 8 August 2023Customers were emailed that the company had decided to sunset the entire suite of BlueJeans products.
Free and Basic plans ended on 31 August 2023Access was removed on that date, and users were told to download saved recordings before they were deleted.
The platform closed fully in the first half of 2024One vendor record puts the final sunset at 29 March 2024, after which the standalone service was no longer available.
Historic pricing, for reference onlyBefore the shutdown, Pro was listed at $17.49 a month or $13.99 annually, and Enterprise at $19.99 or $16.66, with a free Basic tier for up to 25 participants.
Verizon acquired it in May 2020Reported at under $500 million, and closed it roughly three years later citing the changing market.
If you are still on it, you have already movedAnyone searching this name today is either looking at old documentation or planning a migration, so the question is what replaces it rather than how the two compare.

How is Cascadia different from BlueJeans?

The main difference is that we run Zoho Meeting for you and keep your host licenses honest. We provision hosts properly, remove access the week somebody departs, reassign their recurring meetings so those do not fail silently, and compare each quarter what you pay for against what actually ran. Where consolidating saves money, we say so.

Can you migrate us from Zoom, Teams, or GoToMeeting?

Yes, and it is less painful than people expect, because meetings are not really data you have to carry across. We rebuild the recurring sessions, the booking links, and the webinar registration flows in Zoho, update the invites so existing attendees get the new link, and export the recordings worth keeping. Both platforms run in parallel until your last scheduled event on the old one has passed.

How many people can join a meeting or webinar?

That depends on the Zoho plan you hold. Meeting sessions cap at a few hundred participants on the higher tiers, and Webinar scales considerably further, with the audience limit set by the plan you buy. Zoho revises these limits periodically, so rather than quote a number that ages badly, we size the plan against your largest recurring session and your biggest planned event.

Where do recordings live and how long are they kept?

Recordings sit in your Zoho account against the storage your plan includes. We set a retention policy with you during setup, usually keeping client and webinar recordings longer than internal calls, and we archive or remove the rest on that schedule. Storage gets reviewed monthly, so you learn you are near the limit before a session fails to record rather than after.

Do attendees need to install anything?

No. Attendees join from a browser using the link in the invite, on desktop or mobile, with no account and no download. Hosts often prefer the desktop app because screen sharing and controls are smoother, and we set that up for the people running sessions. For webinars this matters a lot, since every install step costs you registrants who never show up.

How do requests and changes work month to month?

You email or message the request and we handle it, usually within a day or two. Scheduling a webinar, adding a host, changing a registration page, fixing a broken calendar sync, and adjusting a recording policy are all part of the plan rather than separate quotes. Live event support needs a few days’ notice so we can run a rehearsal with your presenters first.

What is managed Zoho Meeting?

Managed Zoho Meeting is a flat monthly service where we run the platform for you. We handle host provisioning, meeting and webinar setup, registration pages, reminders, recordings, CRM logging, security settings, and reporting. You get a team that configures the account properly once and then keeps it working as your staff, your calendars, and your event schedule change. You send requests and we make the changes.

What is included in the monthly plan?

The plan covers ongoing management of your Zoho Meeting and Webinar account at a flat rate. That includes host and license administration, session and webinar setup, registration pages and forms, reminder and follow up sequences, recording and transcript management, CRM sync, security configuration, attendance reporting, and host training. Live webinar support is included for sessions you schedule with us in advance.

What is the difference between Zoho Meeting and Zoho Webinar?

They are two modes of the same product. Meeting is a two way session where everybody can talk and share, which suits internal calls, demos, and client work. Webinar is a broadcast where presenters speak and the audience interacts through registration, polls, and questions. Webinar plans carry larger audience limits plus the registration and reporting features events need. We manage both under the same plan.
